Bullying
By Hanna, Hashim, Jaiquon and Shafia
Why do people bully other people?
We’re all different, but we’re all the same
We’re all alike
So who’s to blame?
Try and look at it from a different perspective
We bully because we don’t feel comfortable about ourselves
So let’s all put our insecurities on the shelf
When will bullying stop?
They start talking and we start walking
Bullying is terrible
Completely unbearable
Difference and similarities
Look around at the world
And where are we?
We are in Canada
And we will open our eyes
So turn around and look at the audience
Look at the sky
We are all underneath it
So it isn’t a surprise
Bullying should stop
Don’t think it’s a lie
I am
By Mr. Quinlan's Grade 7 Class
I am a stereotype
I’ve been called dumb because I’m blonde
I’ve been called a nerd because I wear glasses
I’ve been called terrorist because I’m Muslim
I’ve been called gangster because I’m black
Take a closer look at me
I’m not cocky
I’m just confident
We’re all human
We all live under the same sky
I am…
unique,
intelligent,
gorgeous,
talented,
independent,
playful,
strong,
creative,
different,
powerful,
brave,
energetic
and fun!
I am myself!
